Post Vista's built in, "Open Command Here."

Forgive me if this is posted elsewhere within these walls, but one feature I really miss that WindowsXP offered in the way of a Powertoy, was the CmdHere.exe (for "open command here"). I knew there had to be an "tweak" for this same feature in regards to Vista. Guys, check these two links out. However, the original Vista tweak will not let you open an "open here," cmd screen within the "Folder Pane" of Windows Explorer as it did in the Power Toy version for Windows XP.

To work around this, you need to create and add this fix (.reg file/Elevated Command Prompt Here), to override the limitations as noted via the first link.

Or, a person could create a shortcut to CMD and drag that shortcut to the quick launch bar.

The difference here is the command window will open with the current working directory set to the folder's actual location, therefore you don't have to input this information. The system will actually do it for you which is a real time saver.
