Upgrade office 2007 from trial.
I am trying to upgrade my version of MS Office 2007 (60 day trial) to MS Office Small Business 2007. My operating system is Vista. I bought the Office Small Business upgrade for $280 from Best Buy where they assured me that there would not be any problem installing the upgrade to obtain the permanent / perpetual Office Small Business program. I tried the “Activation Assistant for MS 2007 suites” and I can’t get it to permanently install! I tried installing the two CD’s that come with my upgrade, however ALL of the applications in the suite – STILL SAY “TRIAL VERSION”. There’s a few things I saw online about the problems associated with upgrading permanently – but they all sounded very confusing and did not want to mess with any of the Window’s Vista files. So, can anyone give me some guidance in how I can resolve this problem? Thank you.
