Disappearing Icons by clock.....
Hello all,I have a bit of a minor issue with Vista but its an annoying one.On boot up all the icons are not coming up by the clock,so I have to mess around to close stuff and there is a couple things I cannot close.Everything was working fine until I installed SP1 thats when things went a little funny.Everything else seems to be working fine, just the icon issue.Any help for this annoying little issue would be greatly appreciated,I thank anyone in advance for there help.

Are you certain the application is running?
Many apps have an option to NOT show it in the systray. Might want to check on that. |

Hi again,I searched everywhere for that option, within the software itself,in the program files, cant find one anywhere. Now that option was there when I right clicked the icon by the clock, but thats the problem,no icon anymore,I used to just select exit, but cant do that no more either, seems the only place I could access exit and do not load on start up were in the icon by the clock...Thanks again for the replies I really appreciate it.

Click Start->Run (or search) and type MSCONFIG
Look in the tab called Startup to see if you can see the App. Does it have a Cheak Mark in the box? If not, check it and reboot. |
