Java problems with vista

Hello,
I have been trying to load games (from pogo.com) all day and the game will load but not load right. It's almost like I'm seeing double....like the window that the game pops up in is cut up into pieces. If I put the window down and bring it back up it then looks ok but you have to keep minimizing it.

I've uninstalled and reinstall the java several times and it does the same thing.

I'm have Windows Vista....I have both the IE Browser and FireFox and it's doing it with both of them.

The version of Java that I have is Version 6 Update 10 Build 1.6.0_10-b33

I'm not sure what info you need on my computer but here is some:

This problem just started happening today...the java worked fine until now. Also when I reinstalled java I made sure to turn off the windows defender and firewall because I heard that can mess it up. And I don't not have norton or anyother virus program nor pop up stoppers.

Anyone have any other suggestions for me to try?
Thank you

First, not having an anti-virus is not a good idea. I would recommend you get something.

Second, as for your problem, I would just assume it to be the site. Give it a few days and se if it works then.

Thank you for responding.

I did try other game sites before all the uninstalling and reinstalling and the java acted the same on those sites so I'm pretty sure it's not the site.

And I don't use the anti virus programs because I seem to have more problems with them than without them but thank you for your advice.
