After that error had occured, i left the computer on all day to see if it would come back. So far it hasn't. Hopefully it never comes back either. I do have another question though. If I do leave my computer on all day it does something weird. What it will do is the motherboard would beep, then the screen would shut off and come back on. Any reason you thin kthis might be? I also cannot put it into sleep mode or anything like that. I checked the bios on "wake up lane features" and its not checked. Any clue?

List your specs, make and model including power supply.

Also, follow this: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/window...startvista.htm

sounds like it did a memory dump. Have you overclocked anything.

If it happens again, write down the stop code, and list it here.

Check your power settings to see when/how it is going into hibernation and what you need to do to get it out of it.

Hi Kid,

I have Vista Home Premium and this error happens at least 2-3 times daily for me. I referenced it on the internet and according to what other's have said this is a common occurrence for Vista. One person speculated that Microsoft needs to implement a fix of some sort, or perhaps in his case maybe it was wishful thinking. However, I too wonder why this is happening, so excuse me if I jump in here with you in the event that someone might be able to shed some light in regards to this issue.
