dual boot & restore points

Dual boot Vista HP & XP Pro on separate drives. Vista was installed from XP. Either drive Works fine. Dual boot works fine.
Problem: when I boot to XP I loose restore points on Vista. If there is a fix for this
Please, Detailed and step by step. I am not O/S literate and some times it takes a while to sink in

I've heard that installing SP3 in XP has solved that issue for some but not all.
Give this a read: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/12...ot-delete.html
