font size changed when printing

I don't use Vista so don't have a clue how to solve this problem. When a lady tries to print out her emails, the font size is reduced down so far as to be illegible. I assume it's something simple to fix as it used to work just fine so assume she has punched the wrong key combo or something. Any ideas so I can help her out?? TIA

Not a huge printer guy, but the first three things I thought were:

1. Make sure the printer drivers are up to date.

2. After ensuring you have up to date drivers, try printing a test or diagnostic page (can usually find this on the printer's menu or even in the manual if it is around). If the test page appears to print to scale - try printing a test document or web page.

3. Make sure whatever program she is using to print from isn't zoomed in to like 400%. If it is, zoom back to 100% and check the font size.

EDIT:

After doing a couple Google searches I came across this: http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-t...nt-size?page=1

Might be worth a try to check to see if this setting has been altered or not.

Smile Thanks

Thank you for your research and input. It is greatly appreciated. I will be going out to where the printer is located sometime next week and hopefully will get it working. I may have to change the font size in IE also as I understand that controls the email printing. Thanks again - I will take a copy of your reply with me when I go to use as reference.
