put it off tell my other pc was ZAPPED by a bunch of virus,s during a bad down load of renewing trend micro, still stuck it to me and wouldnt refund my credit card, went and bought a acer with vista supreme not a bad puterbut a long way from my old asuss a266 and xp, presto now we have sSEVEN the best of everything, great i hope it is, what do i do with this P>O>S> vista? i do not like it at all, every time i do somthing iam grilled about you shure you want to do that i am a ex s/nco/usmc o311 . i think MS out to replace vista with 7 to who ever wants it at the time i bought this (last sept) you couldnt buy a xp on anything, i am really upset that they made stores not sell xp on a new pc

You can turn off the UAC if it bothers you.

Control panel > Security Center > Other Security Setings UAC Turn Off.

Then restart.

Vista isn't bad, it's just different and take a while to get used to.
