No boot device available

Got on my computer and put in a cd that had some audio files on it (Minnesota Wild) archive
audio to be exact.
Computer did not know what do with them, this is an ongoing thing.........
It sat there and tried to read it for a minute or two and still nothing........
So I tried to close" My Computer".
In the background Media player was trying to open..
So I tried closing with the "X: close button at the top right.
Nothing happened on either account.......
A box did come up saying that " The security feature" or something like that failed to start
or something like that also.
I didn`t write it down.....sorry...believe me I am sorry now.
So I went for a restart via the "Start" button ...nothing
just waiting forever with no response from the pc..........
So I powered down and when I powered back up I get this......
NO BOOT DEVICE AVILABLE............
I put in the diagnostic disc and everything checked alright.
I am on Dells website on another computer and have tried all solutions so far..
Computer cannot boot up to go back to any restore point.
What do I do next?
Thanks for your help in the past and I hope you can help me fix it again.
Dick

Are you still trying to boot with the disc in the drive? If so, take it out and try again.

What is your boot order in bios?

You could possibly have a bad cable, I would check to make sure its installed securely. Might also try going to bios and selecting setup defaults, then reboot.
