Program disc wants to be reformated
Hello
Since I upgraded to Vista 64 from XP, every disc I put in my DVD prompts windows to ask me if I want to format the disc. I cannot browse or autoplay. The only way is totype the exicutable file name in run command. I checked autoplay settings in control panel. It is set to use autoplay. Any suggestions ? |

Did you upgrade from xp64?
If not, I always thought there were problems going from 32 to 64 unless a complete reinstall was done.

Couple specs of dust in the drive can cause this.

What about the "drive?" Have you blown the dust out of it?

If I use the run command and select browse I can view files on the disc. Most of the time. I don't believe it is a dirty disc or drive. I can't find any answers on the internet however I have seen other people with the same problem.
I went to LITE ON web page. The online help tech had me edit the registry, but the did not help. Oh well its not the worst problem but it is a pain in @#* |
