Vista and AOL Mail Issue
We (my Father and I), have a strange issue with his new computer. He uses web-based AOL mail as his main mail client. He does not use it through a pop3 service or outlook service. just regular internet address type, like Yahoo or Gmail. Anyhow, his old dell (with XP) took a dump and he bought a new computer with Vista installed. Now when he forwards an email with any kind of pictures or graphics in the original text, they do not forward with it. however, pics that are listed as attachments work fine. I logged in his account with my XP machine and forwarded the same emails with the graphics and they come through fine, so that tells me it's something in his computer ( I also went into the AOL mails' settings and found nothing that would change it or nothing that had been changed from when he used his other computer.) Via phone, we went to 'INTERNET options' and checked (only two items were different than mine) the same boxes as mine, but no difference. Does Vista have something defaulted that keeps pics from forwarding? I originally thought it was AOL's deal, but when I could send them via my XP computer just fine, we figured it was his new machine?
