Vista & my Dual Core
Hello, I just checked the Device manager of my Compaq laptop.
It says that my laptop is ACPI x86-based PC... It should be: ACPI Multiprocessor PC , since I have Intel Pentuim Dual-Core Inside Processor. Right?

no, that is fine. The ACPI X86 driver supports 2 cores. My dual core laptop reports the same thing. As long as both cores are showing up in task manager you are ok.
