download email files
I tried to backup my email files to a dvd+r disc on a laptop with a vista o.s. I checked the box for email backup and the new disc was formatted and said it backed up the files, but when I looked there was nothing on it! What didnt I do right?

What program are you using for email? In addition to "backup" does the program also have import/export?
