Hey all

There are no drivers for Intel 915 for Vista, there are only developer drivers @ Intel download and to download them you have to have a login etc, i cant find them on the web either.

Windows 7 runs fine but the problem is i get low resolution, i cant understand why Windows 7 cripples the resolution.

If anyone can point Me to the right solution or the drivers, i would be greatful for that.

Thanks again

HP is not offering Vista drivers for Intel 915 let alone Windows 7, Intel has release Windows 7 pre-production drivers and those dont include 915, from what i hear, they are unlikely to develop any drivers for it.

That means i have to give up and get a new notebook that will be pre-loaded with Windows 7 once it is released.

HP and Microsoft wants us to cough up more money for new hardware.

Thanks a lot for all your help, really appreciated it.

try finding the 915 drivers on Intels site and run those in compat mode...may work...

On some of the early beta builds the only way I could get drivers installed was through the Device Manager...

tried that too, no one has had success with 915 to run windows 7, from what i heard intel wont ever develop a driver for 7, some people have threatened lawsuits against intel as these notebooks microsoft claimed they were vista capable
