Lost WMP in Vista Premium?
Not in programs or when I do a search? (Adobe Media Center shows up.) I haven't had the need to use this for a few months and popped in a DVD...nothing. Searched...nothing. I know I could use another but...I still want this! Went to MS and info infers that I don't have a legitimate copy of Vista Premium. (Not the case!) How do I retrieve this or can I install it from a safe site?
A little perplexed guys? Thanks all. Having an issue with getting a full gaming screen after an upgrade of video card. (One thing at a time I guess.) Haven't been around much these days and see a lot of new "faces". Hope everyone is well! Ended up finding it using WinKey+R...now to stop gaming from running on desktop w/partial screen.... So did you get WMP back in action or not?
Normally if there is a major issue with WMP you end up doing a repair install or upgrade, depending on which OS you are using. Any number of things can knock WMP out, from virus to non-compatible software.

Thanks chuck, I do have it going but can't figure out how to get it to show up in programs? Also want to get an icon on the desktop again? Any help would be great!!!!! I'll get a post going on the video forum to get a full gaming screen. (That's not partial and under the tool and sidebar!) Thanks much.
Edit: Oh ya..have never had any critters on this computer so must have been a hardware thing. I have just investigated a few warnings and a couple were hardware related! I'll get er figured out with some head scratchin' and you guys help! Thanks again!!!!!!!!!! Last edited by bd1886; 05-18-2009 at 01:17 AM. |
