Very strange logon issue with Windows 7
I am really loving Windows 7 64bit. I can't see myself using any other version of Windows from here on out. There is one issue, however, that has still lingers even after a fresh install of the release candidate. This issue applies only to one of my machines, the one in my signature.
There are four user accounts on my machine. This problem mainly affects three of them, not my own account. They are all administrator accounts. Problem: Hard to describe... I have some bullet points. Buttons on the taskbar only partially expand and do not show text (as they are set to do). Example: Normal desktop with Firefox open and minimized Not normal - Note the partially expanded Firefox icon with the extraneous line next to it. Normal windows animations do not occur. Example: The hourglass (spinning circle) is not animated. The clock is frozen in time from the point of logon and does not advance. The typing cursor does not flash in any program. Logging off and logging back on fixes the issue EVERY TIME. This problem occurred with the beta and is still prevalent on the release candidate. It ONLY happens on ONE of my three machines. It has happened on my user account a handful of times but the other three accounts are affected daily. I do not understand what is going on and I am having a hard time describing what the problem is. I don't even no what to search for on Google. I have never seen anything like this problem and the fact that a total reinstallation didn't fix the issue makes it even more confusing. I'm guessing maybe some sort of driver issue? Something unique to this machine? Any ideas?

perhaps its a driver issue would be my guess, but maybe this link might help you on your quest to this issue.
