Unhappy I need some serious HELP :)

ok i have an emachine 32 bit vista computer, 2 gig, amd athlon processor 1.60 ghz and 64 nvidia graphics...

question i have is how do i fix this message i get. i use the "registry mechanic" on my computer whenever i start it up. i keep getting 2 errors that cant be fixed in the "custom controls" they are:

"HIGH PRIORITY: HIGHLIGHTED VALUE IS MISSING OR INVALID"

HKEY__CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{300165D9-44B1-4C7A-AD58-4A9E7200E2E8}\LOCALSERVER32

it just will not repair whatever these are and its frustrating. i have no clue what so ever what it even means let alone how to fix it. they are the only 2 that i get out of all errors that the registry mechanic cannot fix...

HELP!!!!!

maybe a system restore or a repair install of the system will fix it

"HIGH PRIORITY: HIGHLIGHTED VALUE IS MISSING OR INVALID" is not an error, its referring to
HKEY__CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{300165D9-44B1-4C7A-AD58-4A9E7200E2E8}\LOCALSERVER32. It's most likely being misidentified by registry mechanic as being invalid, are you using IE8? Use what you like but most registry cleaners do more harm than good, just a suggestion, I would download and run CCleaner. ,

i have restored the computer twice in last month so i dont think thats the answer.

what kind of cleaner are you talking about? and i dont know what ie8 is so info on that would be appreciated also. are you saying i should get rid of the registry mechanic? cause if so then i will, cause i dont know that much about computers and will do whatever you all think i should.

thanx for the replies

IE8=Internet Explorer 8. CCleaner is a rather small utility that will clean-up junk from your system and it also has a nice registry cleaner that tends to lean on the safe side when cleaning. I'm not telling you to get rid of Registry Mechanic, historically the issues I've seen here with the registry are with those who run cleaners. We recommend CCleaner because as I said, it tends not to go over-board on the registry and offers a chance to backup the registry before you remove anything.

Un-install your registry mechanic
