HELP PLEASE - Can't start Cryptographic Services
Whilst installing a new printer to a relative's laptop, I couldn't complete the installation because the installation program informed me that Cryptographic Services in 'Services & Applications' wasn't turned on.
When I tried to start it I was met with an Error 1503 message - 'The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion'.

The machine is running Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

Could someone please explain what's going on and how to fix it?
