serious help AGAIN
hey all...this time it is my daughters computer which has all that mine does.
32 bit windows vista 1.0 and all that.. she could not play the sims 3 game on it so we went to walmart and bought her a nvidia memory card for it 256 mb. it has worked fine with the other card also still in it but all of a sudden she is now getting a blue screen that says the computer can not start. i ran a test to fix anything and the only thing it told me is that there is a hardware problem thats detected.....it told me to check and see if hardware/software are installed correctly or to disable caching or shadowing in the BIOS memory options.( i have no idea how to) when i started the computer in safemode it started but if in regular startup it wont. i even hit f8 and tried to do "using last known good configuration" AND "repair computer"...half way through these the system shut down and the same blue screen came up. i cant tell you what the blue screen says cause it goes by so fast i cant read it. i did see something at the bottom of it about "dump" though and that was all i saw. im thinking it has to do with the memory card we installed but i just cant get the bug out of the computer. i am really illiterate when it comes to this kind of stuff and really dont want to pay to get it fixed....any and all help would be so greatly appreciated..... thanx all

yep i meant a video card and i cant post the nvidia information because my husband burned the box from it...
my main concern now is that when the computer starts it goes through a long list of things and then comes up with BOOTMNR is missing.....what did i do?? im upset now because apparently i hit something or clicked on something and the computer will not go past this screen now keeps telling me to hit alt, cont and del....it restarts but gets to same point and i have to do same thing......wont let me past that.
