Send a message via AIM to Panama Red
You may have to install all the other updates first and SP2 will be made available to you.

I believe you can do it manually as well by going to Microsoft's website and downloading / installing it.

Tomster2300 thanks for the reply. I was just wondering why it did not show up as an available update.

Panama Red---I installed all the updates except for IE8, which I am not sure I like it yet, and SP2 for Vista still does not show up as a download.

I believe if you want to do it manually, the SP2 download includes all previous updates leading up to it. It's kind of a "all-in-one" kind of thing.

If the windows updater doesn't like one of your drivers it will refuse to show the SP2 update. You may want to try looking in the optional updates for a driver update. If that doesn't do it, just install it manually. Be sure to backup first; the update could hose your system.

Vista SP2 was offered as an update last night and I downloaded and installed it. It is a 60mb download. So far no problems with it at all.
