Office 2007 question

Hi Gang

I am running 2 computers, one XP home and one Win 7RC. I have a paid version of Office 2007, on the Win 7 computer and would like to have it on my XP home computer too. Can you do this, I mean install it on 2 diff computers. I tried installing it on my XP computer and it errors out. It does not give me the error, it stops after it gets about 5 green dots into the install and says it has error-ed out. It installed on the Win 7 computer with no problems.

Any solution to this.?

Thanx...Gunny

The retail/OEM license agreement for office states you can use it on one desktop device and one portable device. Installing it on two seperate desktops is not allowed.

What is the exact error message?

Hi Force Flow

That is what really bothers me, it don't say what the error is, it just says it has error-ed out, and that is that. That plus even starting to do the install has me really stumped. I see what you are saying, but if it can only be installed on one computer, why don't it error out right away, and not even start the install. Most programs will cut you of at the pass right away, not even start the install. if it said what the error was then I could do some research on it, and maybe make some more sense of it.

Thanx.....Gunny
