MSDN Windows 7 Download

I have an Academic MSDN account as I am a computing student and I therefore have a valid licence key for Windows 7 x86 and 64bit. My university only allows downloads of the physical media from the internal LAN, which I do not currently have access to.

However, my friend from a different university, has downloaded the software from his Academic MSDN account. What I want to know is will my licence key work with his disc? Is there any licensing implications of using his disc?

Cheers,
Tom

It should be the same image and your own key should work.

Brilliant, I was hoping that was the case.

Thanks for the response.
