I am a very happy news letter participant,and I just d/l'd folder_setting_savefix,,,I need to know how to incorporate to my reg...TIA .....Garyd

This is from the tip of the day Sept.10,2009
Unfortunately Vista does not remember the folder view settings, therefore lot of people complained about this issue, so i thought of making this fix for it. 1.Copy the reg file to desktop and and merge it to the registry. 2.Close all windows before merging 3.Open folder options and apply the view settings to all like you do in XP. |

Right click on the file and see if there is a "Merge" option.
