Windows 7 security Question......?
I logged off my PC, then 5 hours later came home and booted up my PC with Windows 7 on it and some of the files and icons on my desktop had a padlock on them, not sure why. Can anyone shed any light on this & whats it for or why it happened? Thank you inadvance.

Were you by chance tinkering with shares or homegroups?
