Vista Ultimate x64 Slowing Down After Being Left On All Day
My Windows Vista Ultimate x64 seems to get very slow/laggy/choppy after my computer has been running all day -- after a restart things seem to run fine again.
Is this due to a memory leak or something that just happens with Vista? I just made the switch from XP to Vista so I really do not know too much about the OS yet, but I figured I would ask here and see if other people have experienced this problem? I just did a clean install about a week ago and my system specs are: Asus M4A79 Deluxe Mobo AMD Phenom II x4 3.2GHz 8GB OCZ DDR2800 RAM 1GB BFGTech Nvidia GeForce GTS250 320GB WD Caviar Blue 1TB WD Caviar Black Thanks! |

Do you have indexing turned on? It might be the indexing service running when your system was idle and its sluggish because indexing is running in the background.

I will try turning it off and see if that makes a difference though, thanks! |
