Vista Ultimate x64 Slowing Down After Being Left On All Day

My Windows Vista Ultimate x64 seems to get very slow/laggy/choppy after my computer has been running all day -- after a restart things seem to run fine again.

Is this due to a memory leak or something that just happens with Vista? I just made the switch from XP to Vista so I really do not know too much about the OS yet, but I figured I would ask here and see if other people have experienced this problem?

I just did a clean install about a week ago and my system specs are:

Asus M4A79 Deluxe Mobo
AMD Phenom II x4 3.2GHz
8GB OCZ DDR2800 RAM
1GB BFGTech Nvidia GeForce GTS250
320GB WD Caviar Blue
1TB WD Caviar Black

Thanks!

Do you have indexing turned on? It might be the indexing service running when your system was idle and its sluggish because indexing is running in the background.

Yes I do, but shouldn't it stop indexing when I return from being idle?

I will try turning it off and see if that makes a difference though, thanks!
