Windows 7 Upgrade question
If I upgrade a computer with Windows Vista ( legal and registered copy ), with a Windows 7 Upgrade, does it invalidate the the original Vista key?
The reason I'm asking, is because the computer is around 2 years old. And if the hard drive should fail, and I want to install Win 7 again on the new hard drive with the Upgrade, would my original Vista disk be usable, thus allowing me to put the 7 Upgrade back on? Thanks |

No you just input the new Win 7 key.. If you choose later on to go back to Vista you can use the same Vista key that it orginally came with ie put Vista on a seperate drive on the same computer..
