Shortcut to Dial-up connectoid

I can't remember how to get a shortcut for the dial-up connectoid (The log in screen with password/username etc) in Vista. I want to put it onto my quick launch bar, and I did it once in the past, but cannot for the life of me remember how I did it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had tried that, but the only options I get are to move or close (clicking on the window frame) and no options if I click elsewhere.

What exactly is a "Dial-up connectoid" and where is it located?

The connectoid is the window that opens up when you want to dial your connection.

In Vista you get to it by going Start>Connect (On right hand side under recent items, network etc). This then opens up the Connect To window, you then select the connection from the list and then the connectoid shows up and you then click Dial.

In Xp, the path was similar, but when you got the list of connections you could just drag the item to the desktop. Doesn't seem to work that way in Vista.
