Can I switch from 64 bit to 32 bit Windows 7?
As I stated in a previous post, my copy of Windows 7 arrived a few days ago and it came with 64 bit and 32 bit versions.
I installed the 64 bit version and have a few issues - for instance - UNBELIEVEABLY a MICROSOFT Windows 64 bit driver does not exist for my MICROSOFT Keyboard With Fingerprint Reader!!!!! Work that one out! ![]() Anyway, I've not activated anything yet and was wondering if I can install the 32 bit version and possibly at a later date, wipe the 32 bit version and re-install the 64 bit version (obviously they use the same product key). ALSO, I thought us Europeans were offered (during installation) a choice of what browser we wanted installed on our system? Internet Explorer was installed as normal with my copy of Windows 7???

Just format away and install which ever one you want....(there is no converting allowed)
Europe clears Windows 7 for takeoff http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/10...dows7_browser/ |

Sorry, I think you misunderstood my question.
I would like to install the 32 bit version and activate it - then possibly in a year or two, wipe the 32 bit version and install the 64 bit version. Is this allowed? |
