When I turn on my computer about 50% of the time I get the message "Interactive logon process initialiization has failed. Please consult the event log for more details." during bootup. Then, after clicking OK, about 50% of the time the bootup process freezes at this point. Then I just keep rebooting until I get through. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix? Event log doesn't really tell me anything and I cannot find out much searching the web. This problem started happening out of the blue as far as I know.
I am using Vista 64-bit O/S on a system with dual nVidia GTX 295 video cards and 12G of RAM. |

All the info I find on the web keeps pointing to a Vista Repair as the solution.

Thank you for the response. Yes, that is pretty much all that I can find. So, when I do this, the diagnostics find nothing wrong with my computer. The only thing that I have not tried from here is the extended memory diagnostic repair tool. Might as well give that one a try. Thanks again.
