Windows 7 Upgrade questions
I'm thinking about upgrading from Windows XP. Now i've heard that you absolutely must do a clean install of Windows 7 or else you run into nothing but problems am i right? Also, i have an older HP Photosmart 1315 and the original Soundblaster Audigy MP3+ sound card. Both date to 2001. Am i gonna have driver problems with these two items? I suspect that i will huh! BTW i'm running a newer Intel Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G motherboard.

You can purchase the Upgrade Win7 version and then be forced to do a FULL/CLEAN Install....You then MUST manually install all of your other applications.
The above is different then if you're running VISTA. With VISTA you do an in place upgrade and boom...You're all done without having to reinstall everything you own. |
