I have an Acer 4520 laptop which came with Vista. I installed a full version Win7 as a upgrade, much to my sorrow. I want it removed without loosing everything but 7. Can this be done? Thanks.

I'm 99% certain you can't RollBack to Vista. Not sure why you'd want to either.
But you can google the heck out the term RollBack and maybe possibly get lucky. |

A second alternative is to buy an external drive, back up your files to the external drive, wipe your internal drive, load XP back on to your internal drive and then reinstal your software and move your settings from the backup drive to the internal drive.
What are the problems you are having with Windows 7? |

If Vista was he original install, you might have to install it last in order to have the boot sequence work properly. Have you tried to repair the Vista install?
