Can't change saved wordpad documents, Vista
Is there a way to change a document I created and saved using wordpad?
I'd like to change just a few words and don't want to type the whole thing again. Thanks

You'd do it just like any other program....Open - type - save.

you can always copy and paste into any word processor with clipboard temp memory, simple open your wordpad doc file, high light everything and priess Ctrl-C then open word processing program you like and open new doc file and then Ctrl-V and now all the text should transfer into the new file and then you can edit anything you like.

Thanks Slaander, that works and is easy. I discovered (finally)
that if I use notepad instead of wordpad to create the original document it is easy to go back and change the document.
