Norton Ghost ISO file?

Hi I just downloaded and installed Norton Ghost 15.
It worked fine, I have my hard drive all backed up.

Now I want to create a boot recovery disk.

The problem is that when I go to my order page and click on the "Download ISO file" button it just starts downloading the whole thing allover again.

There is a separate button for ghost and for the ISO file.
I have two copies of the Ghost install but no ISO file.

I would be asking Norton about this but after an hour of trying I can't find any way to actually ask anyone a question. I just keep going around in circles and coming back to the same two buttons.

Anyone know some way to get the ISO file or to actually get through to Symantech?

Mike

When you look within the Norton Ghost that you installed - do you see an option to make the boot cd?

Hi EzyStvy

I do, the problem is that when you start the process the first thing it asks for is the location of the ISO file.
However my problems have moved beyond that.

I got the ISO file and copied it expanded to a CD, it will start the process but crashes to the blue screen because the disk does not have my drivers on it.
Running the Driver Authentication from Ghost confirmed that.

Great I thought now is the time to make my custom CD!

Wrong when I point the Custom Disk utility to either the ISO file or the expanded ISO file I always get a message that says this isn't a valid source.
In the mean time I created a boot CD in Windows and it works fine but won't let me access Ghost or my Ghost backup.

That's as far as I have gotten to this point I tried to contact the Symantec but so far I can't fined any way to do that either. All their customer support just leads me around it circles.

I'll give it another try this afternoon, when I have time.

Mike
