Program/Game Installation (WIN 7 Pro)

Hello all,

Quick question that maybe someone who is much more versed in Vista/Win 7 could help answer. Recently I moved from Window XP to Win 7 pro. The issue I am having is programs, games specifically install differently depending on the game. For example, I installed Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. In all programs, the game can be found under Activision-> Call of Duty 4- Modern Warfare and you will have the option of launching the single player version or the multiplayer version. This is perfectly fine and I have no issues. Where things get a bit strange is when I install Call of Duty World at War for example. Instead of finding the game under Activision, it shows up in the Games folder within All Programs. Here, there is no option to launch multiplayer or single player as COD 4 installed (I can remedy this problem by going into Windows Explorer and dragging an icon to desktop so I can launch MP without the cd in). I think it's an issue of how I am installing the game/programs, but I guess I am missing even the most simplistic things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chris
