Windows 7 - Permissions

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. Logged in as Administrator, I cannot access the Documents and Setting folder. By looking at the Permissions dialog boxes, I think this requires special permission. How do I do that?

Have you looked at the C:\USER folder?

Yes. I cannot get into the Setting folder there either. The settings folder appears to be a shortcut leading back to the Documents and Setting folder.

I was finally able to get into the Users folder by taking ownership. I am gradually learning this Windows 7 OS.
