I/O Error
Hi I'm new here and am having problems with my Dell Inspiron laptop, which has Windows Vista Home Basic.
I accidently unplugged a USB stick without removing it properly. Now whenever I start my laptop this error message comes up: File: /Boot/BCD/ Status: 0xc00000e9 Info: An unexpected I/O error has occurred. I've tried running diagnostics tests but nothing comes up. Changing the BIOS settings doesn't work and I can't seem to get into safe mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Thanks for your help - unfortunately I don't have the Windows Vista disc, but will try to find it.
