Can't boot from Ultimate Boot Disc!

I'm trying to boot a friend's Dell Vista OS laptop so I can copy critical files. The OS has been thrashed by something (virus, etc.) and I need to get a few files off before I reformat and reinstall. I downloaded UBD, extracted the files, burned the cd, ect, but I can't boot this laptop from the UBD cd. What am I missing?

BTW, the laptop will boot fine from the Dell restore CD, but that will not allow me to get the critical files off first. A

When you burned it, did you burn it as an ISO or did you just copy the files straight across? They're supposed to be burned as an ISO, if I recall. If that's not it, then I don't know.

Thanks Juppy, I think you've got it. I missed that point. I'll re-burn as ISO, which I failed to do initially.
