Can't Add Internet Explorer to Quick Launch Bar
I have been using Vista since August of 2007 and have had no problems. This morning I noticed that the Internet Explorer icon that was normally located on my Quick Launch bar is missing, but it is in the Start Menu.
I tried to click and drag from the Start Menu but I get the "ain't gonna happen sign" (the circle with the slash through it) when I drag it to the Quick Launch bar. Anyone have any ideas? |

The Quick Launch bar is unlocked.
I did drag it to the desktop, and it created a shortcut. I tried to drag the shortcut and got the "ain't gonna happen sign" (the circle with the slash through it) again. |

I don't know why it disappeared but I was able to get it back by going into the following folder.
C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch and dragging the Internet Explorer shortcut into the folder. Everything is fine now. |
