Windows 7 just kinda..started poopin out on me
So, weird things just started happening to my OS..I have no idea why. I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and it's a legit copy.
1. Webcam stopped working - it's a built in one on my laptop. It was bad to begin with and I didn't think it was connected to the other problems, but it may be. 2. I'm getting an error whenever I open VideoraiPodConverter. The error is "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000135)". I looked into this and apparently it has something to do with .net frameworks and ****. Okay...so I try and manually install the newest .net and it says it's already installed as a component of the system. 3. I try to uninstall .NET framework and I get another error. "Error 1719. The Windows Installer Server could not be accessed". 4. In any program if I go to "Open" or "Add New File" (such as iTunes) the mini-icons that should be there aren't, it's just that 'missing icon' icon instead. 5. When I open iTunes I get an error about missing components from my OS that means there will be difficulty communicating with my iPod. I looked into that and apple said it was about unsigned drivers. 6. Windows Media Player won't play video anymore. It doesn't say why, it just doesn't do it. I didn't do anything to the registry recently, all this started at once. I don't know where to begin with fixing these problems and I honestly don't know how.
