Using USA version in UK
I normally reside in the UK.
Very soon I am making a brief visit to the USA, during that trip I would like to buy a Full Retail copy of Windows 7 Professional and bring it back to the UK with me so that I can install on my computer.. However, I am not clear about the legality and other problems that might arise when I try to "activate" a USA copy in the UK. Has anyone else done this or maybe knows the benefits or the pitfalls ?, I wouldn't want to get it home and find it doesn't work or "activate" as it should... It's just that Win 7 is so much cheaper in the USA, in fact most things are cheaper in the US.. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.. |

If it would be okay to piggyback on his question. I would like to bring a US copy of Win 7 into Romania plus some hardware.
