Hi Gang
I had Acronis 9.0 installed on my computer, and I have tried several times and ways to remove it. I have tried add and remove, Revo uninstaller, etc. Nothing seems to get rid of it. I even tried installing it again, and hoping a uninstaller would be included with it, but there was none. I have a newer version of it its a 11.0 version, and it will not install until the older version is gone. What does one use to remove a stubborn program like this. I am using Win 7 Ultimate. I even tried removing it by going into the registry, no luck there either. Its there alright, but when you click on delete it, it pops up an error of some kind as to why it cannot delete it. Take care.........Gunny

Hi Force Flow
Win7 Ultimate, and IE 8. While waiting for a reply back I was looking at a bunch of things and I found Win 7 has a utility called Windows Install Cleaner. I used it and sure enough it got rid of it. So now I can install the new version now. Thanx and take care....Gunny |
