Unknown contacts appear in Windows Mail
I hope this is the right place to ask this question, if not I apologize. Here is the problem.
If I reply to an email that person is automatically placed on my contact list. If the reply to an email that has many receipients or a distro list they all appear on my contact list. Is their someway that I can change a setting to only allow contacts that I manually place on the list to be there? Thanks. |

In Windows Live Mail, go to Options > Send > uncheck the box that states "Automatically put people I reply to in my address book..." See if the helps you out.
The Options feature can be accessed under the Menus Button on the top Right, or press Alt+ M.

Hey there MikeL.
I have Windows Mail. Is there a difference in that and Window Live Mail? I can't seem to come up with the necessary screen when following these directions. Maybe it is me. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. |
