Do I need to re-activate after reinstalling Windows?

I'm going to be building my first custom gaming rig soon. I'll be installing Windows 7 64-bit OEM on my 1TB WD HDD, but soon I plan on installing a SSD drive. When I do that, and I re-install Windows on that, will I have to call MS to re-activate? It should only be a week or so after installing Windows that I'll be getting the new drive, so could I go that long without activating?

Okay, but is there a time limit for activation? So I could wait before activating it (thus able to re-install about a week later without having to re-activate)?
