ReadyBoost with TrueCrypt

Hi All,
I got a Patriot XT 8gb flash usb drive. I have used www.truecrypt.org program thanks to an excellent suggestion on this forum, to encrypt the files on this drive.

My question is, as I am really only using half of the space right now, can I use ReadyBoost when I have used TrueCrypt for encryption?

Ancillary to that question is just whether ReadyBoost is even worth it? I have 4 gb of RAM and I read that it really doesn't make a difference unless you have less than 2 gb of RAM.

Thanks!

I agree with that statement.

I used a 4 gb FD on the wife's laptop for ReadyBoost, I sure couldn't tell any performance difference.
