Ethernet Won't Work
On weekends I use my laptop with vista at my house. I play online games a lot so I like to have a wired connection. I have had an ethernet cable that runs from my router to my computer for years and I've never had any trouble with it.
Last weekend I was able to use my laptop's wired connection perfectly fine but when I went to use today it doesn't work at all. My first thought was that maybe the cable had gone bad, so I tried it with another cable that works and it still wouldn't connect. Then I figured I might as well reset my modem and router, that didn't work either. If I turn on my wireless on my laptop I have no problem connecting, but like I said I like to play games online so I really need a wired connection. Any suggestions? Thank you.
