Windows 7: fresh install created unwanted parttions

I recently did a fresh Windows 7 install (was running RC1), upon finishing the install I noticed it created new partitions, it would appear that it actually created two (I had a spare 100gb partition that was labeled "D", but is now labeled "E" and there appears to be no D), but the only one I can see is labeled "System Resources".

Do I need this partition? and is there anything I can do to remove this? and also how can I find the other partition.

Thanks
