Win7 EeePC crash while sleeping

Since I think a couple days ago, my netbook has been crashing when I close the lid and it goes to sleep, so that when I open it up again it's turned off. Then, when it finishes starting, the details in the error message say it was a blue screen.

so basically, it crashes whenever it goes to sleep. im on win7 32 bit on an EeePC 1001p mu. I think I may have downloaded 2 windows updates and a java update before the crashing started.
