windows 7, know who logged into machine?
hi,
I recently left my laptop at work, came in the next day and noticed things installed on there, things i mentioned to IT, they said it wasn't them. Noticed Itunes and skype for example installed on there. Is there anyway to see who might have logged in that day, I'm running Windows 7. The applications have been uninstalled, so i can't check the dates on those files/folders, as they look to be gone. Thanks. |

How many hundreds of people have user names and passwords on the machine?
Then you have the trouble of maybe John Doe used Jane Does log in info...Course if anyone else has Your log in info you'll never know. But, you could look through event viewer. |

hi,
do you know where in the event viewer I can see login information? username/id of person who logged in when? that would help a lot! anyone could have used their network password to get into the machine, as it was left at work, but being able to see the id would help me figure it out. |
