Vanity Remover
I've been using this tool to remove any empty directories in my system for some time now and it's pretty great. Thought I would share it. It's very small (33KB) and there is no installer.

Do you have an issue where empty folders magically appear on your drive?
Have you ever had any error where Windows expetcs to find an empty folder and when it isn't found it errors out? C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS comes to mind ![]() Often times Windows or other apps will autmaticallly create the folder as needed... |

Yeah, I'd find something like that more problematic than helpful.

I haven't experienced any errors since using it on my system drive. If a directory is deleted that is required by third party software or by Windows, generally speaking, that software or Windows will create the folder automatically. Some software that gets uninstalled leaves empty directories behind so this could be beneficiary. But then again, there's software like Revo Uninstaller that ensures that as much left over crap is removed after uninstalling software.
