Kernel power error id 41 (63)

Hey...

First it's great to have joined an excellent forum with what looks like a great community!

I keep getting the stated error above and i have managed to deduce that my pc unexpectedly shuts down when im using my firefox browse and looking at streaming sites and sometimes it randomenly would shut down. Also an hour ago or so i went onto speedtest and my pc shut down with that error. I tried again and it shut down again on speedtest. So im not sure whats going on really, perhaps a flash problem or something? I manage to play games fine with no crash at all and removing my realtek audio drivers it seemed to fix like sometimes i would boot my pc and 5 mins or so on my desktop it would crash. Well here are my specs and the error in detail.

If there is anything i can provide i will try. This problem is really annoying and i can't get any work done with the fear of a random crash. But yer as i previously stated it seems to crash alot with flash or w/e being involved. Oh and i cannot provide a minidump as there is no BSOD involved.

Cheers.

EDIT!

Well my mouse lagged, then i checked ventrilo and people who were talking the speaker symbols were yellow and no sound came through. Windows media player like stopped playing and when i tried to click on another song it wouldnt do anything. After 5 mins of that i maximised ventrilo again clicked on another channel and boom unexpectedly crashed. So yeah i really dont know. I also took 2 IDE hard drives out thinking they may have been the problem. But it doesnt seem so and so my only guess is a driver problem perhaps?

Nvidia chipsets for Intel processors are not particularly stable to begin with, and you are trying to run Windows 7 with a 4 year old bios. I'd look for a bios update. Have you run thorough memory diagnostics?

Brand and model of the power supply?

yep iv run a thorough memory diagnostics and it all ran clean.

I actually got this off a mate since my previous mobo got screwed up by my 2600xt but the 2600xt still operates im not sure if that could have an effect on my psu. Uhm are there any programs i could use to display the specs of my psu?

Also im not sure if there are update bios for this mobo because it was a mission to find the chipset drivers for my mobo. I thought i had fixed the problem by doing a flushdns and when i ran speedtest it didnt crash my pc which it did twice, thinking i was being under a dos attack. However my pc crashed when a family member went onto firefox and played some flash games.

You have to open the case and read the label on the power supply.........

When you swapped motherboards, did you do a clean install of Windows?

You have bios F2, and F5 is the most recent.

I checked using a website that my pc is using 419w out of 430w and probably becuase my psu is a generic one and dusty its crashing my pc amirite also my cpu usage gets very high whe idling randomenly sometimes also when changing volume in system tray icon it causes cpu lag. i did a cpu stress test and it caused my pc to shut down. What could you deduce from his? Sorry that it may have also caused this to become a hardware problem and not a OS problem

I would deduce that you should probably buy a name brand quality power supply that has enough power for that rig. Look at Antec, Corsair, and Seasonic. You should also clean the dust out of everything and monitor the CPU temperatures, the Pentium-D puts out a lot of heat.

High CPU usage at idle is a software issue, examine your running processes carefully.
